Alexis frequently appears on CNN and MSNBC, and was featured in American Dynasties: The Kennedys (2018) and The Bush Years: Family, Duty, Power (2019).  She also appeared in Leonardo DiCaprio's The Men Who Built America: Frontiersmen (2018) on the History Channel, and did a series of short videos for Biography.

She was a consulting producer on Doris Kearns Goodwin's Washington (2020) series from the History Channel, in which she also appears, and is a consultant on the film adaptation of her first book, Alice+Freda Forever.
